The „For Cultural Life Non-Profit Organization” was established in October 2002, with the aim of stimulating and supporting the cultural life of Nyíregyháza and its youth as well as to provide opportunities for deprived young people with regard to their studies, culture and healthy way of living.

The association has been operating Nyíregyháza’s Youth House – Mustárház, since January 1st 2006, after taking it over from the Child, Youth and Sports Committee of the Self Goverment of Nyíregyháza County Court, in order to fulfil contractual obligations. The Mustárház functions as a communal place for the youth who visit.

Here they can use our facilities free-of-charge, including continuous internet use on 11 computers, computer technology lessons, English language lessons, dance lessons and heritage groups. They can also receive advice on their choice of career. We also offer our premises as a venue for cultural organizations. Two workers of the North-Eastern Hungary Addiction Prevention Association are also present to counsel young people. In addition, a Role Play Club, psychological counselling and the student mayor’s office also operate here. Anyone can use the facilities and sevices of the association and we pay special attention to deprived children.
